Griffin launches TalkTalk Business Ethernet

Griffin has added TalkTalk Business (previously Opal) Ethernet to an ever growing roster of Ethernet carriers

Griffin has started their alpha trial and Griffin Partners will shortly have access to up to 1GB Ethernet services from TalkTalk Business with fixed pricing and guaranteed delivery times. TalkTalk Business are able to provide Ethernet services from over 2000 exchanges in the UK and Griffin will also be one of the first Service Providers to offer their new 20Mb EFM (Ethernet First Mile) products when they are launched in March 2011.

Andrew Dickinson, Managing Director of Griffin said, “With prices of Ethernet tumbling and SMEs needing fast, high SLA, symmetrical connectivity, demand for Ethernet has really taken off. Resellers are choosing to buy from aggregators because it gives them control over brand, level of support and margins but also because they have greater choice later on when their customers need to upgrade to MPLS and the Cloud. TalkTalk Business offer great value but it is not just about price. We have a rigorous process for selecting suppliers which includes technical, commercial and service delivery due diligence.”

Andy Hollingsworth, Director of Wholesale for TalkTalk Business commented “Griffin has become one of the biggest aggregators of Ethernet in the UK and we are pleased that they have chosen to interconnect with us just at a time when they are accelerating sales in this area. TalkTalk Business is geared up for rapid growth and we believe we offer a number of unique features that will give Griffin’s Partners an edge in what is a very competitive market.”
