Resellers are notoriously competitive which may be why so many of them came to the Griffin Partner Day in October, after which there was a channel poker tournament and fun casino.
Held at Sandown Park, It was a chance for Partners to review a plethora of recently-launched new products, preview the product pipeline and engage directly with Griffin’s senior management.
After dinner Griffin’s Partners played in a poker tournament and enjoyed a fun casino to win a variety of prizes donated by Griffin suppliers. Amongst these were a 3D TV donated by Talk Talk, iPAD from Anubis Networks, spa vouchers from C&W, holiday vouchers from Stonesoft, dinner in the BT Tower from BT Openreach, restaurant vouchers from Netevidence and whiskey from Softcat.
Lee Broxson, Head of Sales at Griffin had this to say, “I was really pleased with the feedback we received. It was a great opportunity to network with Partners in an informal setting, to let them know our plans to help grow their business over the next twelve months and test our product roadmap to ensure that we are building products they really want. Demand for Ethernet has skyrocketed and the chance to show Partners how to take advantage of this to increase ARPU and decrease churn was too good to miss.”
