‘Forget the winter blues’, is the message from PBX vendor Siemens as they launch a new reseller offer to their channel that brings big savings for customers.
Siemens has announced their Xpressions Compact bundle comprising HiPath 3000 (33xx, 35xx), and Xpressions Compact voicemail, offered at a aggressive 50% discount, enabling resellers to build sales momentum while retaining cash in their business.
Leon Mangan, Channel Sales Director at Siemens said “We have listened to the needs of our channel and also the market conditions. We are seeing an upturn the market and this promotion will help our channel partners kick start sales with their clients, especially those in the sub 60 employee segment.
The Xpressions Compact bundle is being offered to reseller partners through Siemens Distributors Nimans Group (Nimans and Rocom), Sphinx and WestCon. The promotion enables distributors and our resellers to provide and attractively-price communications solutions to end users.
Initially, the promotion will last until the end of April this year in the UK, but has the potential to be extended if market demand, as expected is high.”
Outlining the benefits Mangan said, “End users know they have to maintain customer relationship and enhance their service capabilities, investing in new communications platforms with enhanced capability is a realistic way to do it and to reap the benefits in a short period of time.
The majority of SMEs fund investment through operational (monthly) expenditure rather than one-off capital budgets. This promotion provides them with a realistic way of making investments in the current climate. SMEs look at their bank statements rather than their balance sheets so this aggressively price promotion is perfect for them.
Mark Casey, Managing Director of Siemens reseller Marcom commented, “I feel the bundle proposition address the price pressures in today economic climate and will allow us to unlock our pipeline opportunities where price is more of a determining factor. At present, business are only receiving very small returns on their cash (2%). It would be wiser to invest that capital into a communications platform that would give them a much better return in terms of net profits. Bundles will allow business who don’t have the capital to purchase a new system and are not eligible for leasing facilities to review their options given the significant reductions.”
