Headset Market Turns Full Circle for Nimans and Jabra

Distributor Nimans is in a spin over a new corded headset innovation from GN Netcom which features a noise cancelling boom arm with a 360 degree rotation. The Jabra BIZ 2400 is aimed at contact centres and offices where a robust, durable professional quality headset is required to increase productivity and efficiency.

The new innovation incorporates super soft ear cushions and a choice of wearing styles in addition to the ‘freespin’ break-proof boom arm. Nimans’ Headset Business Manager, James Burns, says dealers will appreciate the stylish and sleek design which is combined with outstanding call clarity and unbeatable build quality.

“There is nothing quite like this on the market,” he explained. “The BIZ 2400 is available in either mono or duo speaker configuration and benefits from several industry firsts.”

The headset has gold plated microphone contacts for optimum voice transmission, neodymium speakers for top class sound regardless of frequency, surgical steel parts for durability and style along with a high quality cord which prevents kinks, breakages and damage. It also includes programmable soft buttons, on a dedicated USB version, which can be used to control all incoming and outgoing calls.

Burns added: “The Jabra BIZ 2400 is designed for all day use, even in the most demanding contact centre and office environments. It is a premium headset with premium benefits and is available to buy from May 11th. Jabra has invested a great deal of time and thought into creating what they are hailing as the best headset on the market. The break-proof boom arm is both innovative and effective and eliminates the possibility of damaged returns to dealers.”

He concluded: “We expect the new headset to quickly establish itself in the market. The USB version is ideally suited to the continued rise in PC-based IP telephony for contact centre and office environments where call clarity is key - and so will prove particularly popular.”

As if to emphasise Burns point, Jabra is also launching a ‘plug and play’ USB handset solution which has been optimised for Microsoft Office Communicator. The Jabra Dial 520 OC represents an ideal way for users to migrate to IP telephony - where they simply connect it to a PC and use it like any other dialpad-based phone.
