Scottish reseller HIGHnet has been awarded a substantial contract by a large multinational oil company, fighting off competition from Tier 1 carriers.
The voice and data services contract serves the customer at their Aberdeen Headquarters and their West African off-shore assets, and is expected to exceed £2m.
This customer is not new to HIGHnet, though, as HIGHnet has been providing their network services since 2005. In the past year alone their billing has doubled, increasing the significance of the win for the reseller.
Kim Moran-Hogg, Sales Director, said: “As the customer has been with us since 2004, we are delighted to have retained their business. Despite being up against Tier 1 carriers who tend to feature more and more in competitive tenders, this retention is great for our business and testament to the excellent management and service we provide.”
