Hinc departs 20:20 to start new distie

David Hinc, former sales director at 20:20 Mobile, has left to start a new mobile software distribution business, named Mobile Apps Warehouse.

Mobile Apps Warehouse is a new generation of mobile distributor for the 21st century, Hinc stated. The new company is focused on the sourcing, product development, marketing and deployment of innovative line of business and consumer mobile applications that deliver real benefits to end users and moreover, that deliver incremental sales and margin to channel partners.

Mobile Apps Warehouse allows Hinc to focus on developing the burgeoning mobile apps market sector, by acting as an aggregator for a variety of channels.

“Our value proposition is working with innovative developer partners, helping them to test and refine their product offering to appeal to a multiple markets including MVNO’s, mobile retailers and resellers, as well as traditional mobile distributors.”

Mobile apps warehouse has already signed a number of exclusive supply agreements for both the UK and EMEA, including itrack personal protection and lone worker solution.

Hinc commented: “Mobile Apps Warehouse specialises in understanding the market, ensuring that any product that we endorse is the best solution within any particular product sector. We already have a solid portfolio of market leading propositions with many more currently being evaluated, tested and multiple deployment options created.”

Mobile Apps Warehouse’s product portfolio includes mobile software across a wide range of genres, including LBS personal protection and lone worker solutions, mobile security, mobile device management, mobile payment solutions, mobile satnav, as well as mobile productivity and technology stack reduction propositions.

Hinc rejoined 20:20 in 2008 and was responsible for B2B, IT channels and 20:20’s mobile apps product portfolio.
