HiPath 3000 Passes Landmark 5 Million Lines Installed

Siemens Enterprise Communications have announced that the award-winning HiPath 3000 converged IP solution has passed a landmark five million lines deployed. It has also been reported as the world’s leading Hybrid PBX in terms of revenue for the third year in succession by analyst firm Dell’Oro Group.

To enable Siemens Enterprise Communications’ extensive network of partners to capitalise on this growth and realise increased revenue opportunities, the company has launched OpenScape Office HX and further upgrades to the HiPath 3000. Designed specifically for small and medium enterprises, OpenScape Office HX is a Unified Communications (UC) software application that gives existing HiPath 3000 customers the opportunity to leverage their current communications investment, while experiencing new features and all the benefits of next-generation UC including presence, chat, voicemail and mobility. To further ease the migration, the solution is being launched with an offering of a 90 day free trial and simplified licensing, enabling partners to promote and drive customers to the benefits of UC. As a result, small businesses can get more done, make their customers happier, and save on communications costs.

Leon Mangan, Sales Director, Indirect Channel, Siemens Enterprise Communications UK commented that: “Our award-winning HiPath 3000 series has been a phenomenally successful channel product which has really stood the test of time. We are continuously developing the portfolio and successive releases of innovative application software plus upgrades to the product will ensure that it remains at the cutting edge of technology. The milestone of five million lines deployed is testament to its market leadership and the new OpenScape Office HX presents a huge opportunity for our partners to enable those customers to benefit from unified communications.”
