IP security distributor Horizon Equip Technology has announced the appointment of Laura Harman and Dave Park as Business Unit Managers. Operating as a team, Laura and Dave will share joint accountability for the running of the company and have responsibilities for vendor relationships, group reporting requirements, personnel/HR, in addition to budgeting and finance.
Before joining Horizon Equip, Laura Harman had been Partner Account Manager at Clarity Technology, another operating division of Horizon UK. During the three years she spent in that role, she achieved significant success in developing her accounts and helped Affiniti to become Clarity’s largest partner. Previous to Clarity, Laura had spent several successful years working for resellers in end user sales and had worked closely with Clarity as their distributor of choice.

Dave Park has over 12 years experience in a variety of sales and management roles in the IT channel. Dave has previously worked for Teksys, a Microsoft centric consultancy, as an Account Director developing its customer base and account territory which made a significant contribution to the overall growth and success of the business. Joining Equip in 2004, Dave has had a succession of promotions after surpassing targets and eventually became Regional Sales Manager before assuming the position of Business Unit Manager.
