IP security and integration distributor Horizon equIP Technology says it is showing its commitment to providing added value to its systems integrator, VAR and service provider partners by holding a wireless workshop called ‘Innovation Through Location’.
The event taking place at Horizon equIP’s offices in Basingstoke on Wednesday 25th July, will demonstrate the collaborative work of best of breed vendors, Nortel, AirDefense and Ekahau, and highlight the significant revenue opportunities presented by provisioning scalable, seamless and secure wireless networking.
Laura Harman, Business Unit Director at Horizon equIP Technology comments, “As we are committed to supporting our vendor and channel partners to develop their market growth, it is crucial that we keep our finger on the pulse and identify new avenues of revenue generation. This workshop encompasses this commitment by bringing together complimentary products that will allow partners to approach tenders with a competitive and differentiated wireless networking solution.
Horizon equIP already has strategic relationships with Nortel and AirDefense, however, Ekahau has shown its interoperability with both vendor portfolios, and by including Ekahau’s RFID technology in this workshop, it demonstrates our understanding of the importance of the infrastructure and security that enables these real time applications.”
