Hoult to Spearhead Microtel’s LLU Drive

Crayford based Microtel part of the Kenton Group has appointed Keith Hoult as the new LLU Business Development Manager, to continue the company’s growth in using LLU for specialist networks.

Keith’s experience in both the broadband equipment arena and close association with local authorities gives him an unique base to advance the company’s growth in offering private secure networks in the SME and Public sector.

Microtel was one of the early companies to see the advantages of Local Loop Unbundling, and has built many secure wide area networks for both end users and third party service providers for carrying converged services including IP telephony.

Managing Director John Larkin commented, “Microtel has seen good solid growth in the LLU sector and our appointment of such a key figure as Keith demonstrates the company’s commitment and potential in the sector.”

Hoult has had many years of experience in the rollout of broadband networks since his days heading up Net to Net, he then continue when Net to Net were taken over by DSLAM manufacturer Paradyne. More recently he Headed up Adran’s UK presents followed by representing Microtel’s partner Actelis and developed the Metro Ethernet market for their EFM technology.
