The steel engineering firm, which has more than 15 years of experience in the telecoms industry, has started work on a major new 4G network for leading providers Vodafone and O2.
The network will be built on Britain’s east and west coasts and is expected to take around three years to complete.

Hutchinson Engineers employs more than 80 skilled workers across its two sites in Widnes and is involved in both the design and manufacturing of the masts.
“We expect to be extremely busy over the next few years fabricating and rigging structures for the UK’s biggest mobile phone companies, helping us to further strengthen our position as a leading market player.”
Network giant EE (owner of Orange and T-Mobile) remains the sole provider of 4G, after being given the go-ahead by the Government to launch the technology last autumn.
However, earlier this year the government granted licences to a number of other network providers, including Vodafone and O2, with services expected to be launched this summer.
