They travelled on dog sleighs and snowmobiles and on the last night gazed in amazement as they watched the spectacular Northern Lights phenomena.
“Everyone agreed that this was a once in a lifetime amazing experience,” said Ian Brindle, Head of Conferencing Sales at Nimans. “We travelled to Sweden the home of Konftel for an unforgettable trip.”
Ian added: “We stayed for one night in the Ice Hotel which melts every year so has to be completely rebuilt. Everything is constructed out of ice, from your beds and walls to the plates and even the chandeliers.”
The group spent one night in Stockholm, one night in the ice hotel and their final night in a warm lodge, enjoying fine food and drink throughout. They braved temperatures as low as minus 15 degrees but with the wind chill it felt like minus 40 degrees.
Ian concluded: “I think the highlight for everyone was watching the Northern Lights on our last night, it was a surreal and magical experience.”
