Iceland Volcano: Logicalis Opens Up Internal International Telepresence Suites to Customers

International solutions provider, Logicalis, has announced that as the business travel impact of the Icelandic volcanic eruption continues, it has opened its network of internal Cisco Telepresence suites to customers across the globe, allowing organisations to conduct ‘face to face’ meetings through the use of the Cisco Telepresence experience.

Logicalis has Telepresence suites in San Paulo - Brazil, Buenos Aires - Argentina, Bloomfield Hills - Michigan, USA, and in Slough - United Kingdom.

“Logicalis invested in Telepresence systems to give more time back to our executives and employees, allowing them to conduct vital business meetings without the cost and time implications of global travel. This technology is as good as sitting directly in front of a colleague, customer, or supplier, and many of our customers will now have an urgent need to hold face to face meetings in the coming days and weeks.

“With flights expected to take weeks to return to normal, we would like to assist our customers in any way we can, starting with opening up our Telepresence suites on both sides of the Atlantic,” said Chris Gabriel, Director of Marketing and Solutions, Logicalis UK.

To support its customers, Logicalis will provide flexible access to its facilities during the coming weeks. Organisations should contact their local Logicalis office for more information.
