In Practice Systems Ltd (INPS) has awarded a contract to Proximity Communications Plc to supply, deploy and support a UK wide ShoreTel Unified Communications. INPS develops Clinical software solutions for Primary Care Trusts and the wider healthcare environment throughout the UK. INPS employ over 350 staff, based from the Dundee, Coventry and Battersea (HQ) offices.
INPS primarily needed to replace its out of date legacy PBX system, which was coming to the end of its supportable life. As a customer focussed, service led company INPS also wanted to use this opportunity for investment to further enhance its customer services and support capabilities and improve overall staff efficiency. Central to these requirements were remote and mobile working capabilities, multi-site integration, conferencing and collaboration services, and intelligent multi-media contact centre capabilities. Key considerations were simplicity of management, architecture, resilience and enhanced UC functionality, especially in the Contact Centre.
