In the Saddle

Veteran of Daisy, Eurotel and BT, Chris Jagusz has just completed the 285 mile bike ride from Greenwich to the Arc de Triomphe, raising over £2,000 for the Royal British Legion.

Chris said, "There's a real sense of achievement from four hard days' cycling for such a good cause; when the Arc de Triomphe comes into view, you know it's all been worthwhile." This was Chris's third time on the Legion's Pedal to Paris ride, "It was the Royal British Legion Paris ride that first got me into cycling and now I'm an addict! I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a challenge in support of a very worthwhile charity."

The Royal British Legion stands "shoulder to shoulder with those who serve", supporting services personnel injured in the line of duty and their families. Its Battle Back centre helps with physical, psychological and social rehabilitation of sick, wounded and injured personnel through sports and adventure activities - one of many contributions made by the Legion.
