Infinity SDC Partners with Zayo

Infinity SDC has partnered with global bandwidth infrastructure provider Zayo Group in a multi-year deal to provide flexible high capacity connectivity for its new data centre, Infinity SDC Slough. The installation replicates the full choice of IP, wavelength and dark fibre options that Zayo already provides customers at Infinity SDC’s Romford data centre and adds direct high bandwidth connections between the two locations.

“Having scalable connectivity options to key markets is an essential part of our offering to clients so we are delighted to partner with Zayo as we bring our first customers into Slough,” said Paul Quinn, Account Director at Infinity SDC. “The flexibility, capacity and international reach that Zayo offers, coupled with its expertise in rapid deployment, will offer significant benefits for our clients.”

Sited in one of the UK’s key IT concentrations, the Thames Valley, the Infinity SDC Slough data centre was brought online in early November 2013. It offers 92,000 sq ft of technical space, supported by 34MVA of power.

“Extending our network to Infinity SDC at Slough ensures we can continue to satisfy our customers’ demand for a range of connectivity options into the UK’s prime data centre locations,” said Alastair Kane, Zayo’s European vice-president. “The high bandwidth cross London link from Slough to Romford, coupled with the diverse routes we offer into The City centre and Docklands, enables clients to plan and deploy applications with confidence in their network capability.”
