GN Netcom has signed a UK-wide distribution agreement with Ingram Micro UK. Under the terms of the agreement, Ingram Micro will distribute GN Netcom’s entire range of hands-free solutions including its Jabra range of Bluetooth mobile phone headsets and music range and office and call centre headsets.
The products, which complement Ingram Micro’s existing mobile and technology offering, will be distributed to the company’s 8,500 resellers, enabling GN Netcom to increase its market reach across the country. Specifically, Ingram Micro resellers will target the retail sector, where there is a growing demand for easy to use hands-free solution for the car and the office.
“The agreement with Ingram Micro enables them to take advantage of the combined GN Netcom and GN Mobile product portfolio, following the merger of both companies earlier this year,” explained Jan Mc Nair, Managing Director, UK, GN Netcom. “This will give Ingram Micro resellers access to a comprehensive portfolio of home and office hands-free solutions that will create an additional revenue stream and is a value add-on to any mobile and technology offering.”
Bhavesh Patel, Commercial Director, Ingram Micro said: “We are seeing a growing demand for high quality hands-free solutions from both consumers and businesses. In the work place, this is being driven primarily by the growth of IP telephony. In the consumer environment, the upcoming change in legislation is creating a renewed interest in safe, in-car solutions. GN Netcom is one of the few company’s who can provide a range of hands-free solutions that address all our markets demands.”
