Ingram Micro (UK) has won both Cisco’s UK & Ireland Distributor of the Year award and its EMEAR Distributor of the Year award.
These awards follow on the heels of Ingram Micro’s victory at Cisco’s EMEAR Distribution Forum in Madrid at the end of last year where its UK team picked up the number one distributor title for its Enterprise Networking Group.
Julian Thompson, senior director for Advanced Solutions at Ingram Micro UK commented on these successes: “We are very proud to have been awarded these honours from Cisco and I have congratulated my team on their Cisco focus and commitment throughout FY13.
“Last year saw us make significant investments in certifying our dedicated sales teams who now hold a comprehensive range of Cisco qualifications. These enhanced skills are playing a relevant role in developing our customers and as FY14 rolls out, our particular focus will be on nurturing our Distribution Accelerated Partner and Premier customers while continuing to support our Gold partners.”
Andy Brocklehurst, UK Velocity & Distribution Regional Sales Manager at Cisco said: “These two prestigious awards recognise the investment and commitment that Ingram Micro continues to make to building its Cisco business in the UK.
“Ingram Micro’s growth in key areas of our business has been a strong contributing factor to Cisco’s success in the UK & Ireland. Ingram Micro has a dedicated and focused team of accredited and specialised individuals and I’d like to thank them all for their continued commitment to Cisco,” he concluded.
