Ingram Support Apple Resellers

Ingram Micro has brought mobile device charging products from Bretford to its portfolio of value-add Apple wraparound services.

Following a successful collaboration with Bretford in the US, the partnership has been expanded in order to access Ingram Micro’s UK Apple resellers and deliver margin opportunities and support to them.

Bretford manufactures technology-enabled furniture that supports evolving mobile devices. These products are specifically geared to the collaborative and interactive working styles adopted by users in learning, healthcare and business environments. Bretford’s Mac and iOS device solutions are available to order immediately with additional store and charge solutions for laptops and tablets becoming available in March 2014.
Head of Category for Apple at Ingram Micro, Raj Pandya said: “Bretford is a brand we’re delighted to have on board and its products form a key part of our plan to be the one-stop-shop for all our Apple customers, offering a large range of products and services to support their Apple businesses and enhancing the value they can deliver to the end user. Building on Apple’s ‘circle of margin’ strategy, we have developed a range of value-add services from our in-house engraving service enabling customers to personalise products for security or asset tagging purposes, to custom builds and upgrades with both Apple and third party options.

“We have also lined up a large range of peripheral products to complete our Apple ecosystem including cases, additional keyboards and tethers for securing iPad devices in display or retail environments. Our in-house configuration department can load images onto any Mac or iPad so the device is useable straight out of the box and through partnership with Cisco Meraki MDM solutions, multiple iPad devices can be rolled out across several sites but managed by only one user,” Pandya continued.
