Ingram Micro today announced it will now offer Logitech Tap, a touch control display that allows one-touch connection to video call and video collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms. Available in configurations for small, medium and large rooms, Logitech Tap is part of Logitech Room Solutions, which include all necessary components for quick installation: a Tap touch controller, mini PC, in-wall rated cabling and a Logitech MeetUp or Rally conference camera.
“We are excited to take our strong partnership with Logitech to the next level with the addition of this fantastic solution, which complements our UCC portfolio perfectly,” said Jacek Murawski, Vice President, Global Partner Management EMEA at Ingram Micro. “Ingram Micro’s UCC division is one of our fastest growing business units with discernable customers, and to offer another world class meeting room solution will enhance our customers’ ability to drive a sustainable business practice.”
“Over the past five years, we’ve changed the video conferencing market with simple, high-quality, affordable video devices for every meeting space,” said John Howard, Head of Enterprise and Global Accounts, EMEA and APAC for Logitech. “With Tap room solutions, and in collaboration with our premier alliance partners, Google, Microsoft and Zoom, we have made it even simpler for IT decision makers and AV pros to standardize and scale deployment of video conferencing to every meeting room. We are delighted to partner with Ingram Micro on the next phase of market expansion for Tap room solutions. Our partnership is a fantastic opportunity to jointly deliver best of breed, modern UCC technologies to channel partners and to end customers.”
Ingram Micro country operations will be supporting their customers through the ever-growing UCC business unit with the EMEA Centre of Excellence technical team to assist with any support for the UCC portfolio. As the leading distributor of IT products and services, Ingram Micro’s UCC divisions enable their resellers to offer and sell UCC at competitive prices. At the heart of the Ingram Micro UCC philosophy is the aggregation of devices into multi-vendor solutions.
Logitech Tap will be available as a hard bundle with Logitech MeetUp, Logitech Rally or Logitech Rally Plus and a mini PC to offer end users an out-of-the-box meeting room solution for small, medium and large rooms across both Microsoft Teams and Zoom Rooms. A portfolio of accessories, including mounts and extension microphones, ensure an outstanding user experience, while thoughtful cable management minimizes visible cabling and keeps connections secure.
