Business communications provider Inter-Tel has made a strong start to 2007, with its annual global partner event proving to be the largest and most successful ever. Delegate gathered in San Diego, USA for Inter-Tel’s Business Partner Conference, more than 40 of which were partners from the UK.
Many of the UK partners were recognised and rewarded. Top achievers Actimax Plc, Opal and Armstrong Plc were placed 12th, 15th and 29th respectively in Inter-Tel’s global reseller leader board and were awarded Platinum Reseller status.
Commenting from the event, Duncan Miller, channel marketing manager EMEA, Inter-Tel, said: “2006 proved an excellent year for our resellers and Inter-Tel with 20 per cent growth within the European markets from 2005. The success of our channel partners reinforces our commitment to the European market and continues to prove Inter-Tel’s growing status within the telecoms market.”
Award winners from the UK comprised:
Actimax Plc; “Actimax has achieved top UK reseller for Inter-Tel for the fifth consecutive year. We aim to make it a sixth,” commented John Massey, managing director, Actimax.
Opal Telecom: “This recognition of Opal’s achievements in 2006 is important to everyone at Opal. A superb effort from a great team,” said Rob Munro, general manager, Opal.
Armstrong Plc: “Armstrong supply Inter-Tel exclusively – to be recognised by them with Platinum status acknowledges the commitment we have to supply and support the product into the future,” said Steve Donovan, managing director, Armstrong.
