The UK managed hosting and cloud services provider, is using Avamar to underpin its enterprise-class managed backup solution to customers both on-site and off-site, backed by award-winning SLAs. iomart Group is offering Avamar as part of its channel proposition to increase availability of the enterprise-grade back-up solution and the variety of software support.

Customers are able to backup significant amounts of data online without having to make a capital investment to do so – and the process is quick: data is deduplicated and only the unique daily changes are stored, which reduces bandwidth requirements. In the event of data recovery, Avamar features a one-step process through which entire backups or individual files or directories can be accessed immediately.
