IP Integration and Networks First Host Seminar for Local Government

IP Integration, a leading UK provider of complete business communications solutions and Networks First will be hosting a joint seminar with Charnwood Borough Council on “Implementing Seamless Customer Service Solutions” at the Thinktank in Birmingham on 9th May 2008. The event is aimed at highlighting best practice communications technology and how to overcome the challenges facing governments, particularly in the voice/telephony space.

The half-day seminar, aimed at Local Government Executives, will tackle the difficulties faced by local authorities when communicating with their communities. It will draw upon Charnwood Borough Council’s recent implementation of a new AVAYA IP Telephony Solution, supported by IP Integration and Networks First, to illustrate the latest communication technology innovation solutions available.

The event will also provide discussions on building common infrastructures to enable secure electronic interactions, procurement considerations within Government, and network and data security.

Dave Glasgow, Sales Director, IP Integration comments: “Local governments are facing huge challenges as they attempt to satisfy recent government legislation requiring councils to improve customer access, whilst budgets continue to tighten. We hope all those in attendance will walk away from the seminar with a clear understanding of how IP telephony directly enables governments to better serve their communities.”
