iPass Launches Drive for New Enterprise Mobility Resellers with Updated Channel Partner Program

The proliferation of the Mobile Workforce and a ‘Bring-Your-Own-Device’ Culture in Enterprises Presents Significant Opportunities for Resellers

iPass Inc., the global Wi-Fi services and enterprise mobility provider is today announcing the launch of a significant reseller recruitment drive and an enhanced channel program. Through these initiatives, iPass aims to recruit new specialist partners in order to help them capitalise on the growth of remote working and consumerisation of IT.

“Businesses are looking for solutions that offer insight, security and cost-control into an increasingly mobile workforce with a growing ’bring-your-own-device’ work culture. iPass VARs can help companies address these issues with iPass Open Mobile, which offers IT departments an efficient way to deal with onboarding multiple devices, controlling network costs and offer access to the world’s largest Wi-Fi network to keep mobile workers securely connected and productive everywhere,” said René Hendrikse, iPass vice president EMEA.

iPass is looking to recruit new long-term specialist partnerships with mobile device management offerings to address a growing demand for mobility solutions within the enterprise. These VARs will be able to complement their existing mobility solutions with the iPass Open Mobile platform that provides access to the world’s largest commercial Wi-Fi network, with over 800,000 hotspots in 118 countries worldwide. The new, simplified iPass reseller program offers partners the chance to gain a competitive edge and expand revenues with a predictable and recurring stream, by selling services such as secure remote access and mobile connectivity management.

iPass will provide a range of partner tools, to empower resellers to grow their businesses and generate increased revenue by offering iPass Enterprise Mobility Services. The new channel program offers a range of benefits, including an enhanced training course with six new modules. Reseller partners will have access to the iPass Reseller Portal, which provides sales and product information, as well as training and marketing resources.

“By providing the channel with a range of sales and marketing support we are enabling them to respond and monetize to some of the challenges highlighted in the recent Mobile Workforce Report,” said Hendrikse. “Businesses are becoming increasingly frustrated with 3G costs and there exists a significant opportunity for resellers to present seamless global Wi-Fi access. The new channel program provides resellers with the tools necessary for successful selling, ensuring that staff have the training and support to help them close opportunities and benefit from recurring customer revenues,” added Hendrikse.

Participating resellers can also benefit from a substantial joint marketing program, with marketing development funds being made available and iPass will also assist partners with case study and press release development to help to attract new customers. Resellers will be given business development assistance and sales leads to further increase their revenue generation potential.
