Jabra launches New Partner Programme

Networks & Network Services
Headset vendor Jabra expects to see a growth potential of DKK 4-8 billion by 2014 driven by the growth of Unified Communications.

“To seize this immense opportunity, Jabra has developed the WIN Partner Programme to focus upon the customer throughout the entire buying process. The program guarantees customers a world-class experience with Jabra partners," said Andrew Doyle, Managing Director at Jabra UK Contact Centre & Office (CC&O).

Taking a holistic approach to partnership, Jabra says the WIN Partner Programme is designed to increase a partner’s success in helping a customer make a strategic buying decision, by offering benefits such as business and sales development, and extensive support and product training.

WIN has been developed in close collaboration with Jabra’s partners, and is based on their significant insight into the needs and challenges of today’s headset customers.

“Adoption and usability of UC solutions is often defined by the quality of the audio experience, therefore customers should no longer think of headsets as just a ‘commodity’. Matching the needs of the office-based or mobile worker with the appropriate headset requires a more consultative vs transactional approach,” said Guy Koster, Director of European Product Marketing - Westcon Convergence Europe.

Jabra adds that while partners have always excelled in delivering product knowledge, service and aftermarket support, the continuing complexity of telephony and UC solutions requires a new approach for staying competitive and ensuring a world-class customer experience that meets individual needs.

WIN’s portfolio of benefits include demo products, account management support, sales and marketing tools, and a new online e-learning portal available to all partners in 15 languages. The portal features modules such as product training and sales-specialist certification for UC and Contact Centres. Benefits are based on a partner’s level of commitment to Jabra, with Gold being the highest level. Gold partners receive exclusive insights into new products, gain access to partner seminars and are offered co-branding opportunities.

The WIN Partner Program creates a win-win situation for all stakeholders in the headset value chain, and is consistent with the company’s philosophy of ‘partnering for success’. “When Jabra invests in our partners, we grow together,” said Doyle. “Working together is how we’ve increased our market share in the past, and how we will continue to do so in the future.”
