Jobs Boost For Watford

Direct Save Telecom has announced plans to create 120 new jobs over the next twelve months

Fast-growing telecom provider Direct Save Telecom today announced that it will create at least 120 new jobs over the next twelve months.

The jobs expansion is a direct result of the telco launching what they describe as the best value phone and broadband package in the UK earlier this year. The package offers customers broadband with free evening and weekend UK calls for less than a pint of beer ... just £2.49 per month plus line rental that is also 12% cheaper than rivals BT.

The new jobs will be full-time permanent positions based at Direct Save’s business centre for customer care, administration and sales in Watford.

Coming at a time when many UK companies are downsizing or closing, Direct Save’s workforce will more than double in size.

Direct Save Telecom is committed to providing customers with UK based call centres, including 24/7 free phone broadband support.

“We are pleased to announce our plans to take on a minimum of 120 new members of staff in the next 12 months,” says Direct Save Telecom’s CEO Stavros Tsolakis. "Our footprint in the UK’s home phone and broadband sector is all about achieving the most robust and sustainable operating model for the long-term and offering customers the best deals available. Despite the general economic environment remaining challenging, our business has expanded significantly over the past 12 months and this increased workforce will help build further market share.
