Westcon Convergence is investing and focusing heavily this year in marketing and has recruited John Richardson as Marketing Director for the UK and Ireland. John joins the company with over 20 years in the industry working for BT, Cisco and Polycom.
His remit will be to drive the UK and Ireland marketing plan across the Westcon UK and Ireland channels.
“Distribution is becoming a more prevalent route to market in the channel with the increase of complex multi-vendor UC solutions and vendors that have less resource available to manage resellers. The UC market is moving very fast and I wanted to work for a dynamic and fast-moving organisation, and Westcon in my opinion stands head and shoulders above the competition.
