Kcom Achieves Cisco Master Managed Services Certification

Kcom has achieved the Master Managed Services Certification from Cisco. This certification recognizes Kcom as having attained expertise in all phases of the Cisco lifecycle methodology, described as “prepare, plan, design, implement, operate, and optimise.”

“Kcom is one of the first UK Cisco Channel Partners to be awarded this much sought-after certification. We are delighted with this achievement as it reflects our dedication to delivering effective managed communication services,” commented Paul Renucci, Group Executive Director of Kcom. “It also reinforces our commitment to providing a positive customer experience, which is underpinned by proactively seeking to understand our customers’ businesses. This allows us to respond to their needs, and deliver truly flexible solutions.”

The Cisco Master Managed Services Certification recognises a solution provider’s investment in the managed service ITIL processes, practices and tools necessary to provide high-quality managed services. As a Cisco Master Managed Services Certified Partner, Kcom has demonstrated the ability to deliver sophisticated solutions, met stringent requirements that reflect a depth of capabilities, and undergone an independent audit by an objective third-party auditor.

As part of the accreditation process, Kcom was also required to evidence its capability across at least two managed services customer references, demonstrating its use of the resources and procedures necessary to deploy, manage and support Cisco solutions.

“Kcom’s investment in the Cisco Master Managed Services certification ranks it among an elite group of channel partners with the resources to deploy, manage and support services for multiple technologies,” said Edison Peres, senior vice president of the worldwide channels go-to-market group at Cisco.

In addition, Kcom has achieved Cisco Powered managed service designation in Cisco Powered Managed Unified Communications. Over the course of the next 12 – 24 months, Kcom will continue to develop its service offerings and hopes to expand its list of Cisco approved Service Designations with solutions such as Managed Application Performance Management (APM).

Cisco Powered managed service designations acknowledge that a managed service provider has invested in industry-leading Cisco architectures and that its services have met the highest Cisco user-experience standards.

This accreditation follows Kcom’s renewal of the Master Unified Communications Specialisation, which requires Cisco partners to meet stringent requirements to demonstrate their master-level capabilities and customer success track record. Kcom is also a Cisco Gold Certified Partner, meaning it has attained the broadest range of expertise across multiple technologies by achieving all of the following four advanced specialisations: Unified Communications, Routing and Switching, Security, and Wireless LAN. In addition, Gold Certified Partners have integrated Cisco Lifecycle Services into their offerings and demonstrated a high level of customer satisfaction.
