Keith Reading of Basingstoke based resellers Qolcom is remaining optimistic regarding the future of Zultys, the PBX vendor that shed most of its staff when it went in to Chapter 11 in the US this autumn. The company has since re-emerged under new ownership.
“Zultys have a great product and the new owners are the ‘original’ founders of the business and the technology in that they are the technical brains behind it and hence we are confident the product will continue to be developed and supported.
We are working on many Zultys deals in the UK, in fact we have recently installed and commissioned a Zultys system that was ordered when they were in administration with the customer being aware of the situation. The customer went ahead with the purchase and installation as they could not find a better solution out there and hence their opinion was that the technology is so good that they wouldn’t just disappear.”
I read with interest your article in this months Comms Business regarding “Best new product demonstrations” and remember meeting you and your colleague here some months ago. As a company we have been supporting Zultys throughout the bad times and are confident that they will blossom under the new ownership and am glad that we impressed you with the ‘on the fly’ demonstration.”
