Keeping workers productive and protected!

A unique relationship has been launched between Daisy Group Plc and workforce management solutions specialist Yes Europa.

'May the Forth be with you' was the message to Daisy's mobile sales workforce at an event held at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham. May 4th saw the launch of a bespoke solution aimed at improving the productivity and efficiency of Daisy customers' remote workers.

Daisy Mobile Workers, a solution which has been created specifically for SMEs, enables businesses to send jobs, receive jobs and capture signatures electronically, removing the need for time-consuming paper processes. Terry O'Brien, Daisy's Director of Mobile, said: "As soon as I saw this product I recognised it fitted with a need I had discussed with many of our mobile customers.

"It is absolutely our intention and vision to ensure we help our customers do more and get more from their mobile services with Daisy.

"The market is full of companies selling mobile services, but being successful going forward will be about providing mobile solutions that help companies achieve their goals, whether that's through performance growth, operating effectiveness, or cost saving.

"Being able to provide mobile products, services and applications that enable this is where being a mobile provider of the future gets really exciting.

"The solutions we can now offer in partnership with the team at Yes Europa are all about helping businesses improve their remote workers' productivity and also keeping them protected.

"The solution will be offered through our direct and indirect channels and we are now engaging with our sales staff and account managers to bring this to life for Daisy customers.

"Yes Europa showed entrepreneurial spirit, a real passion for these products and a drive to make a difference. We are looking forward to working with them and enjoying the shared successes of Daisy Mobile Workers in coming months."

The Daisy Mobile Workers solution is a software application compatible to most PDA smart phones, with software running on all the major operating systems such as Windows, Android, IOS and Blackberry.

Historically, Yes Europa's route to market was direct but as the solution is reliant on mobile technology it made sense for the company to find a partner already successful in the mobile arena and with a strong focus on the SME marketplace.

The company was approached by Daisy Group Plc. which was looking for value-added solutions which would bring real value to their customers; talks began and a working relationship formed.

Lorraine Briggs, Daisy account manager at Yes Europa, said: "All too often we see doors closed to small and medium sized businesses because many workforce management solutions play only to the bigger audiences.

"Many of the applications included in some packages are not suited to the smaller audiences, so while they may use only a fraction of the solution on offer to them, they still have to pay the full cost.

"We, at Yes Europa, have recognised an opportunity within the small business market for a simple, effective solution which will meet their workforce management needs at an affordable monthly price.

"We find that many small businesses we speak to want a mobile solution which will enable them to assign their remote workers to a job or task and for the worker in turn to be able to write notes on the job, confirm completion and gain a customer signature. It really can be this simple.

"A key benefit of the Daisy Mobile Workers solution is that businesses can schedule work and request consumables directly via the portal providing an improved and simplified end customer experience.

"Further bolt-on applications can be added to meet individual needs whether this is the tracking element, photo capture, splat diagrams or user defined text; it is all possible for minimal extra cost."

"We are really excited about this new proposition and are looking forward to working with Daisy to bring this solution to life for their customers"
