Keith Horsted leaves Nine Telecom

Keith Horsted has left Nine Telecom to join gteq intelligent mobile as its channel development director. Horsted was previously Nine Telecom’s mobile services manager.

Horsted commented: “These are exciting times for the indirect channel, as fixed and mobile communications merge even closer. For some dealers this presents a huge challenge, but with the right partner it presents the greatest opportunity since the advent of CPS.”

gteq is the provider of Intelligent Mobile (iM), which provides dealer and resellers with a branded SIM that contains a geographic number of their choice, a UK mobile number and an international mobile number if required, thus reducing cross-network and international roaming charges.

It has the facility to record all voice calls and text transactions, making it ideal for the financial and legal markets. It also offers static IP addresses that unlock the machine to machine opportunities.

Horsted added: “This is a true wholesale product that is simple to set up and operate and will give gteq’s channel partners the flexibility and control of a mobile network without the cost.”
