Kieron James joins the FCS board

FCS has announced that Kieron James, chairman of Nexbridge Communications Ltd, has been appointed to the Board of the Federation of Communication Services to represent the interests of the numbering community within the Federation.

On his appointment Kieron James said: "I'm honoured to have been asked to serve on the FCS Board. Jacqui Brookes and her team continue to provide an outstanding service to the industry and it has been a real pleasure to have chaired the FCS Numbering group for the past seven years. I greatly look forward to working with the other board members during what will doubtless be a particularly interesting period in the UK communications sector, not least with a major non-geographic number consultation underway."

Welcoming Kieron James to the FCS board FCS chairman Justin Orde said: “We are pleased to have the advantage of Kieron’s knowledge of the telephony sector and particularly his understanding of the non-geographic numbering sector that is under scrutiny by Ofcom at present. Kieron has led the FCS Numbering Group since its foundation and is a powerful advocate of the importance of numbering services for end user businesses.”
