Kirk Telecom Expands Range Of Wireless VoIP Solutions

Kirk telecom, the SpectraLink company, has launched their Wireless Server 600v3, a scalable wireless VoIP solution to meet the needs of small to medium-sized businesses through to large enterprises by adding wireless VoIP telephony to IP PBX with the following protocols: Cisco Skinny, H.323 or SIP.

The Cisco Skinny version has successfully passed Cisco Interoperability Verification Testing against the Cisco CallManager, securing the interoperability between the Wireless Server 600v3 and a Cisco telephone infrastructure. Having been a Cisco AVVID partner since 2003, Kirk telecom is part of the Cisco Technology Developer Program.

The company says the unique features of the KIRK Wireless Server 600v3 include the option of deploying it either as a single-cell configuration with up to 35 wireless users, or as a multi-cell configuration with up to 1500 wireless users. The same hardware is used, supplied with a multi-cell license for multi- cell deployments. The servers are connected directly to the LAN, avoiding cabling and costly installation.
