Lancom Business VoIP routers are Swyx certified

Networking specialist Lancom Systems is the first hardware manufacturer to achieve the highest level certification for their business VoIP routers in the Technology Partner Program (TPP) from Swyx. Certification guarantees problem-free interoperability with the IP communications solution SwyxWare, including support for future versions of the software.

The entire range of Lancom business VoIP products has been certified:

Lancom 1722 VoIP, Lancom 1723 VoIP, Lancom 1724 VoIP and Lancom 1823 VoIP.

Each of these VoIP routers integrates Internet access, IP VPN to the main office and IP telephony in a single compact device. They enable home offices, branch offices and external sites to connect to company infrastructure optionally via SIP, ISDN or analogue, without a local PBX system. The Lancom 1823 VoIP additionally supports Voice over WLAN for the operation of WiFi telephones and dual-mode mobile telephones.

The combination of Lancom and SwyxWare particularly benefits small and mid- sized enterprises (SMEs) requiring voice and data communications with external sites. With minimal infrastructure - the only requirement is a certified Lancom VoIP router - these companies gain a fully functional, secure extension of their communications systems to the remote sites.

"We are very pleased that close cooperation with our partner Swyx enables us to offer cost optimisation for SMEs in the form of a simple solution based on the powerful communications software SwyxWare and professional VPN routers with SIP intelligence from Lancom," says Roland Burlaga, Product Manager for Voice over IP at Lancom.
