Leeds-based IT reseller LDD Group has today announced that it is establishing a new wholesale telecoms division.

Departing from its roots as a traditional IT reseller, LDD has launched its own wholesale telecoms offering which will allow the company to provide a full LDD branded telecoms package for all sizes of business, from a single user start-up to a large corporate with multiple sites.

The launch of the telecoms division forms part of LDD’s ambitious growth plans. The company counts Nike UK, Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Symphony Group amongst its clients and achieved £11.6 million turnover last year, recording a 22% increase in turnover in the last two years. With the help of its new telecoms offering, the company is predicting that turnover will have hit £30 million in next three years.

The new telco division will be headed up by Paul Abraham who has more than 18 years Telecoms experience. It will offer an end-to-end wholesale telecoms solution including IP telephony, SIP trunks, non-geographic numbers, Ethernet connectivity and leased lines.

LDD has linked with a number of strategic partners including Daisy Wholesale, Thus, O2, Nimans Network Services and BT Openreach.

Group Sales Director, Mandi Iles, said: “It’s impossible to ignore the convergence of the IT and telecoms market. We are ambitious and our financial growth in the last two years reflects that, so moving into wholesale telecoms was the logical next step for us.

“With our 19 years of IT and customer service experience, we are ideally positioned to leverage our existing product portfolio and our new telco offering to build a great value proposition."
