Leading Business Communications Company AVSolution Rebrands as avsnet

MSPs
avsnet, formally AVSolution UK Ltd., has today unveiled its new branding, website and company name. This change ensures the company’s image better reflects the broad range of business solutions the organisation provides. avsnet’s new brand maintains its strong heritage (avs) while correctly indicating its focus on collaborative unified communications (net).

The company has been trading for seven successful years and has seen extraordinary year on year growth over the past three years, culminating in 40% growth last year. Alongside its traditional video conferencing installation and support expertise, avsnet has strong experience in application performance management which allows it to deliver quality network centric video experiences to global businesses.

Recently appointed Non-Exec Chairman and industry veteran Mike Mason explained, “We have an extremely strong background in delivering video conferencing and audio visual solutions. However, this technical expertise is just a part of what our company provides. Our customers regularly praise us for our consultative approach, strong project management, and ability to deploy and support converged network and unified communications infrastructures. Therefore we felt avsnet better represents the range of capabilities and strengths of our business.”

avsnet focuses on collaborative multimedia communications to answer the real issues facing global enterprises – integrating global onsite and remote workforces, cutting costs, improving time effectiveness of staff, and reducing unnecessary local / international travel.

Mason continued, “Many organisations never achieve the full cost and productivity benefits associated with video communications, having been badly let down by resellers and integrators, who deploy poorly conceived solutions, which leads to low adoption due to a disappointing user experience. avsnet works directly with our customers to deliver flawless communications driving cultural adoption and helping businesses realise the benefits of their investments, in terms of cost savings, reduced environmental impact and increased productivity.”

To successfully support the rebrand, avsnet has upgraded its support and managed services operations with new service management systems. The company believes customers should receive their project on time, within budget and with high adoption rates. Through its project and training teams, users are trained in system use to ensure the organisation receives the full benefits and return on investment that unified communications can provide.

In addition to the rebrand and the service management overhaul, the company has forecast extremely aggressive growth plans and is looking to support this by supplementing its commercial, support, network and technical services team. Already the management team has been further bolstered, not only by Mason, but with the arrival of Justin Anderson who joins avsnet as Commercial Director. Mason and Anderson have previously held posts as CEO and MD at Cisco UC specialist ABS, where they doubled revenues to £25m.

Managing Director Graham Fry concluded, “We quickly realised that if we stood solely as a specialist video communications and AV company we would struggle to convince the market of our excellent capabilities in unified and network centric communications. While we are still seeing exceptionally strong video integration levels within UC strategies, by using our own resources we’re able to deliver full UC and network rollouts to our customers.”
