Lenovo today announced the appointment of Andy Bass as Director of SMB and Channel for the UK and Ireland. Bass’s track record as a strong industry leader with 25 years’ experience has seen him achieve growth targets for a number of organisations.
David McQuarrie, Vice President and General Manager North and UKI, Lenovo said, “The channel is the cornerstone of business in the UK and Ireland. As we pursue our ambitions to drive increased growth within the channel, we are pleased to have announced such an important addition to our team.”
Bass joins Lenovo with a wealth of knowledge garnered from working in both distribution and at leading hardware vendors, including Toshiba, in the UK and internationally. Bass will be responsible for driving sales of Lenovo PC, tablet, server and storage products across the channel. In addition, he is tasked will driving business partner growth and expanding our SMB customer base.

Based in Lenovo’s UK office in Hook, Bass will report to David McQuarrie.
