Will Harte, aged 22, recently graduated with a BSC in Geography from Portsmouth University. He says, “This graduate placement at STL is a great opportunity for me to learn about all angles of business, especially with the placement at Samsung.”
Nicholas Gilks, aged 20, is on a 1 year placement from a BA Business Management at Oxford Brookes University. He hopes to return to STL to finish his training after his finals and is looking forward to the challenges of the year ahead, “I was once told that a successful man is one who can lay a firm foundation with bricks that others throw at him and I am sure that this year will be a real insight into the real world of business.”
Under the scheme, which is being run jointly by STL and Samsung, there are placements for two graduates each year. Brendon Cross, STL’s managing director, commented, “This exciting new collaboration with Samsung adds another dimension to our graduate scheme that gives Will and Nicholas a solid foundation. As a growing business STL is prepared to invest in the sales people of the future right from the start of their careers, a proven formula within our business model.”
