Liquid Voice shortlisted for award

Call recording company, Liquid Voice, is through to the final six in the Local Business Accelerators competition as one of ‘Yorkshire’s most promising young businesses’.

The Local Business Accelerators scheme identifies dynamic enterprises and works with them to help achieve their growth potential. Winners will receive expert mentoring and advertising support.

The award is operated by 500 newspapers across the country and has won the full backing of David Cameron, who said: “The Local Business Accelerators campaign will help provide the boost that our smaller British businesses need right now.

“Those that will benefit from the initiative are the very businesses and entrepreneurs that will help to lead Britain’s recovery.”

Deborah Meaden, the entrepreneur and investor famous for her appearances on TV’s Dragons’ Den, is the national ambassador for the campaign.

She said: “I’m proud to support Local Business Accelerators and help build thriving and industrious communities.”

Liquid Voice designs its own wide range of call recording and associated products and has seen its business grow rapidly over the last two years.

Chris Illingworth, director of Liquid Voice, commented: “We are very pleased to receive this recognition.

“Against an unfavourable economic climate, we have seen a tremendous response to our call recording proposition which aims to make our products and services affordable and accessible to organisations of any size.”

The judges will announce the names of the winners in January.
