Logicalis Achieves Cisco Powered Private Cloud Designation

Logicalis has achieved the Cisco Powered Private Cloud designation as an extension of its existing Cisco Master Managed Services Certification. These designations recognise Logicalis’ investment in the ITIL processes, practices and tools necessary to provide high-quality cloud and managed services.

Tom Kelly, managing director of Logicalis UK, comments; “Cisco’s accreditations demonstrate global support and market demand for Logicalis’ hybrid cloud proposition. The option to integrate private and hosted cloud is far more palatable to a business that wants to exploit the elasticity of cloud computing with operational demand, but also be assured of cloud ownership.”

Logicalis’ Cooperative Enterprise Cloud offers customers a ‘total cloud’ engagement from highly virtualised private cloud through to a range of innovative hosted cloud solutions, backed by consultancy services, to support customers on the journey to cloud computing.

As a Cisco Powered Private Cloud (IaaS) designated partner, Logicalis has demonstrated the ability to use cloud technology to deliver infrastructure, platform or software as a service capability.

“Logicalis’ investment in the Cisco Powered Cloud designation demonstrates their expertise and ability to deliver Cisco based IT as a Service. In today’s dynamic market environment, where customers want choice, this is a real competitive differentiator,” said Jeff Spagnola, vice president of sales for managed and cloud services at Cisco.

As a Cisco Master Managed Services Certified Partner, Logicalis has already demonstrated the ability to deliver sophisticated solutions, met stringent requirements that reflect a depth of capabilities, and undergone an independent audit by an objective third-party auditor. Logicalis is also required to offer at least two managed services using the resources and procedures necessary to deploy, manage and support Cisco solutions.

Logicalis now has Cisco Powered managed services designations in Cisco Powered Managed Connectivity, Cisco Powered Managed Contact Centre, Cisco Powered Managed Data Centre, and Cisco Powered Managed Unified Communications.
