Logicalis UK has appointed Alex Louth as Managing Director. Alex joins the business to lead the redefinition of the company’s customer focus and value proposition as the market shifts to the emerging opportunities made possible by Digital Platforms, Data Driven Business and IoT.
Louth joins Logicalis UK from Data Intensity, a multi-cloud managed services provider, having spent 2.5 years overseeing the successful integration of his former business Red Stack Tech after its acquisition by Data Intensity in 2016. He has spent more than 20 years in the IT channel.
“Logicalis has a great name globally, but especially in the UK, and working with the team here really appealed to me,” commented Louth. “The market place is changing and there’s a great opportunity to establish ourselves as a trusted long-term value partner to our customers, helping them navigate on-going business and technology change through engagements driven by much greater levels of intimacy, customer experience and service provision. The business has been restructured and re-energised, and I’m excited to work with the management team to ensure we increase our value to customers and the revenue growth that will come from that.”
Logicalis UK recently announced it would re-focus to make it more relevant, agile and able to better support its customers as they digitally transform their businesses. Louth will oversee this process, reporting directly to the Head of Europe for Logicalis, Ruediger Rath, who added: “Alex’s reputation for innovation, his entrepreneurial spirit and his passion for employee and customer experience made him the ideal candidate to lead the UK business into the future. We look forward to supporting him and his leadership team in their ambition to create an organisation that is one-step ahead of the demands of our customers.”
