LDeX has partnered with Next Connex to provide diverse network connectivity to its LDeX1 North London Data Centre.
This new partnership offers LDeX’s customers additional connectivity options across Next Connex’s core network linking Data Centres in the London area, Slough, Surrey, and South Wales. Customers choosing colocation in LDeX can now use a wide variety of DCs as back-up or Disaster Recovery sites and can connect to Telehouses and Internet Exchanges in London Docklands. Next Connex’s dark fibre core network provides high bandwidth connections for the most demanding clients. Next Connex provides colocation services in a wide range of Data Centres offering customers a choice of locations, capabilities
and prices making them one of the leading infrastructure suppliers in the UK.
LDeX1 is a valuable addition to Next Connex’s portfolio of Data Centre colocation sites. LDeX1 offers state of the art security via facial recognition and resilient power and cooling to enhanced Tier3 standards making it one of the best in the UK. This is combined with easy accessibility from the north via the M1 making it the ideal London location.
By combining new, high quality data centres such as LDeX’s Staples Corner site with excellent, diverse and low latency fibre connections, it is no longer necessary to maintain a costly presence in London’s main carrier exchanges. End users now have a choice in the data centre market whilst maintaining their internet connectivity delivered reliably over an optical fibre infrastructure.
“Next Connex’s presence in LDeX1 expands our customers’ connectivity, offering them the flexibility to connect to more Carriers and to other Data Centres easily and cost-effectively.” said Matt Edgley, Director of Sales & Marketing, LDeX.
“LDeX is a leading Data Centre and is ideally located in North London offering easy access to customers via the M1. The management team at LDeX have designed and built a great facility and can provide bespoke and flexible solutions for almost any customer. This is a great asset to have on our estate of connected Data Centres” said Richard Auld, Commercial
Director, Next Connex.
