Top sales staff from Daisy Group Plc will be watching the World Cup final in sunny Majorca this weekend.
The top 20% of the leading telecoms provider’s sales team are heading off to Magaluf for a fun-packed short break as football fever pitch reaches heady heights.
It was heads down and sell, sell, sell throughout May and June for Daisy’s 84 sales staff determined to get to the Balearic Islands, of which 35 succeeded.
And it has paid off for the company too, which saw a dramatic increase in sales revenue throughout the two month incentive.
Karen Ullah, Daisy’s sales director, said: “It goes to show that incentives really do work. Yes, the sales teams are getting industry leading commissions when they hit or over-achieve against target, but sometime they need that extra incentive to push their boundaries.”
All of the sales teams included in the incentive chose a World Cup football team to represent at launch time and each employee was given a whistle and rattle which could be heard around the office whenever a sale was made.
Karen added: “This has been a really good motivator and certainly sparked some enthusiasm and interest around the office and I look forward to joining the top performers in Magaluf!”
