Mainline announces BB10 training days

EE distributor Mainline Digital Communications is running a series of three BlackBerry 10 training days in March, in conjunction with the handset manufacturer. The regional events will provide dealers with a detailed introduction to the BlackBerry 10 OS, the BES10 proposition and the Z10 device.

The announcement follows on from the special BlackBerry 10 preview event, which Mainline hosted with BlackBerry for its best-performing dealers over a week before BlackBerry 10’s official launch date. At that time, RIM representatives gave demonstrations of the new handset and the new BlackBerry 10 operating system. Mainline also used the opportunity to outline its BlackBerry 10 marketing and training support plans.

“We promised training support and now we’re delivering in the South, the Midlands and the North of the country,” says Mainline managing director, Andrew Boden.

For dealers looking to secure a competitive edge in the business smartphone marketplace, the sessions will count towards achieving BlackBerry Gold Sales Accreditation in 2013. Mainline is also heavily promoting BlackBerry eLearning and WebEx sessions to its dealer base.

“In addition to the training, our BlackBerry Gold-accredited sales team will help dealers to get to grips with the sales opportunities the new handset and operating system are creating,” says Boden.

“4G from EE together with BB10 from RIM makes a formidable proposition for business customers. Our recent BlackBerry incentive programme smashed its sales targets and galvanised our dealers’ sales teams behind the BlackBerry range. Our aim this year is to maintain that momentum. This training programme is the next step in that process.”
