During recent acquisition of Mainline by EE, the distributor launched its Christmas incentive scheme aimed at driving sales through EE small business connections.
New sales and marketing director Martin Tufft has hailed the distributor’s Ding Dong Merrily Dubai Christmas promotion as a tremendous success, with the campaign connections target being smashed by 66%.
For every new EE Small Business connection made and logged during the eight-week promotion period, dealers received one entry into a draw to win a holiday for two, as well as the chance to win an instant prize.
Thousands of pounds of lifestyle shopping vouchers were handed out to participating dealers and their staff, and the winner of the holiday prize plus a bottle of celebratory champagne was Alun Gorman of Simple Communication Solutions.
“We’re delighted with the results of the promotion,” says Martin. “It was easy to enter, the chances of winning an instant prize were good and dealers saw it as a useful way of helping their teams to focus on EE Small Business connections in the build up to Christmas.”
