Mainline thumbs up for Orange

Orange distributor, Mainline Digital Communications, has welcomed Orange’s business tariff refresh.

The refresh, designed to help small businesses during the recession, allows users to take advantage of enhanced benefits, richer packages and additional options. Changes include the removal of inclusive Orange Care from all business plans, Business Sense now having an option of unlimited landline calls, and increased minutes for the Business Solo tariff.

Andrew Boden, Mainline’s managing director, commented: “Orange continues to offer its excellent 24 hour handset replacement service as part of its business packages, but by separating out the insurance element of Orange Care this has created additional margin opportunities for our dealers.”

Customers signing up to a 24 month Business Sense contract can now choose unlimited calls to 10 nominated landline numbers, as well as one of the standard options including 1,000 additional text messages or international minutes.

“Customers are now getting more for their money with the business plans,” said Boden. “Communication is one of the most important outgoings for a business, and getting value is extremely important, especially during these uncertain times.”

Finally, all Solo plans now have inclusive texts and an increase in inclusive minutes across all price points and one additional extra such as inclusive BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS), unlimited Orange to Orange calls or a 500 MB data bundle.

“The beefed up Business Solo tariffs together with very competitive upfront commissions and ongoing revenue has ensured that Mainline’s B2B sales remain buoyant. One in four handsets now shipped by Mainline is a BlackBerry device and the inclusion of BIS as an option for Business Solo customers is certain to drive Orange BlackBerry sales still further,” added Boden.

Mainline is also offering an extra £40 bonus on top of commission on all new business connections.
