Mainline’s Tweets for its dealers

Orange mobile phone distributor, Mainline Digital Communications, has announced the launch of its Twitter page.

Mainline’s corporate branded Twitter page provides regular news and views, business updates, incentives, last minute updates on stock availability, the latest developments in mobile networks and future predictions on the market place.

“This is a great way to get real time updates and news from Mainline,” commented Steve Matthews from Aspect Business Mobiles. “With the phone applications that are available I can get any of Mainline’s Tweets directly to my mobile.”

Dealers can comment on the distributor’s Tweets and can also view other dealers’ responses to posts.

Added Gail Hollinshead, Mainline’s director of dealer sales: “The telecommunications and technology industry are embracing Twitter as an informal communication channel. The beauty of Twitter is its simplicityp; we can post stock updates, industry predictions and even some lighthearted messages too, like World Cup news. Also, as you can only post 140 characters all messages have to be succinct and to the point.

“This is a quick and convenient way for us to communicate with our dealers and they can get up to the minute Tweets no matter where they are.”
