Maintel Reports 16% Increase in Profits

Maintel has today announced total revenues of £24.8m in the first half of 2015, an increase of 20% year on year with adjusted profit before tax increasing by 16% to £3.3m over the same period.

After a transformational year in 2014, where the company saw revenue surge 35%, Maintel is successfully maintaining its growth in the sector. Gross margin improved significantly to 38.3%, underpinned by an increase in the sales mix of consultancy and professional services.

Eddie Buxton, CEO of Maintel Group, said, “After another successful period, we have never been better placed; with a broader range of services and skills we have the ability to manage highly technical transformation projects for customers.”

Driven by impressive growth in newer data and SIP products, Network services revenues increased 24% year on year and will continue to grow as focus moves away from the declining legacy calls and lines services.

Eddie Buxton added “Our new sales pipeline continues to grow and being appointed as an approved supplier on the new public sector network services framework agreement offers us the opportunity to tender for business not previously available to us.”
