Maintel and in particular Rachel Wilde (National Account Manager) were nominated for the Best Voice & Data Convergence Solution, for supplying an end to end Nortel Voice and Data solution for the LPB. The implementation included the design and set up of LANs to efficiently run voice, deliver quality of service (QOS) and also utilize power over Ethernet (PoE). The contract is worth £2.8m over 5 years.
Rachel Wilde concludes, “The project is a credit to both Maintel and Nortel teams and proves people, alongside quality solutions are the key to successful solution implementations”.
Tony Bailey, Nortel UK Sales Director, confirms, “Maintel excelled in orchestrating a complex solution with the LPB, which ultimately will meet customer need”.
Tony also reinforces, “Nortel have a very well established relationship with Maintel and the highly professional approach in respect of the LPB project, is only one example contributing to their continued success”.
Nortel run channel awards every year to acknowledge sales achievements from within the telecom channel. Presentations were held at The Nortel Partner Forum, which was attended by over 200 Nortel channel partners.
