Endpoint security vendor Malwarebytes today announced it has selected Blue Solutions as its first UK distributor, as part of a wider expansion into EMEA enterprise markets. The deal reinforces Malwarebytes commitment to expanding through the channel with the company preparing to launch an official program in the coming weeks.
Malwarebytes, which provides advanced anti-malware and anti exploit protection, will be working with Blue Solutions to initially target organizations in the SME and Mid-Market segments. The company’s award-winning software works in tandem with all traditional security suites to protect against the threats these miss. This means it will complement Blue Solutions’ existing security portfolio, providing protection from the latest zero-day threats without having to rip and replace.
The recent opening of a new European HQ in Cork and appointment of a UK Sales Director complement Malwarebytes push into the channel in the UK, providing significant focused resource. The company also has a logistical support and technical operations base in Estonia, and two offices in North America.
Anthony O’Mara, Vice President, Sales, EMEA at Malwarebytes, said: “Today’s complex threat landscape is creating a huge demand for our products which protect against zero-day threats that other vendors often take days to detect.
“For this reason, we have invested significantly in building a world class sales, marketing and support infrastructure across EMEA. Now this is in place, we are focussing on putting a channel program in place, the details of which will be announced in the coming weeks.”
Mark Charleton, Co-Founder of Blue Solutions, said “Partnering with Malwarebytes makes complete sense for Blue Solutions, further strengthening our specialism in the security space and credentials as a distributor embracing the MSP model.
“The fact that the product works alongside all existing security vendors means we can now offer a comprehensive level of threat protection. Malwarebytes is also investing significantly in sales, marketing and support in the UK, providing us with a high level of resources to tap into. “
